The Cyclamen is a flowering plant that produces lightly scented blooms on elongated stems above its green, heart-shaped leaves with silver marbling.
It is best suited for cool, well-lit indoor spaces with a few hours of sunlight and away from drafts originating from central heating and air conditioning systems.
During active growth (Winter), water the plant whenever the top inch of soil feels dry. Be careful to avoid wetting the leaves, as this can lead to rot. When the plant is dormant (Summer) and has lost most or all of its leaves, only water occasionally to prevent the soil from completely drying out.
